Gather Ingredients
  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties, making a slight indentation in the center. Chill patties for 15 minutes to help them hold shape.
Cooking Process
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with goat cheese to melt.
Assembly/Plating
  1. Toast burger buns lightly on the skillet. Place the patty on the bottom bun, add arugula, and tomato slices. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired, and top with the other half of the bun.
