  • to taste Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best melt.

Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet For baking the fries.
  • 1 Large Bowl For soaking and mixing the fries.
  • 1 Kitchen towel For drying the fries.

Method

  1. Collect 4 large russet potatoes, 4 cloves of garlic, 1/4 cup of olive oil, salt, and fresh parsley.
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips for that perfect fry shape.
  3. Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  4. While the fries are soaking, preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for crispy perfection.
  5. Drain the soaked fries and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel to ensure they crisp up nicely.
  6. In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt until evenly coated.
  7. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Once golden and crispy, remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy your garlic fries!
